Folded Ground

About the work

Theo cuts into the block until the inner space becomes as important as the stone that surrounds it. The folded form has no fixed front: light moves through the opening and draws a different silhouette from each side. The surface is honed by hand and retains the small pores of the travertine. A simple stable plinth is recommended, with space to walk around the piece.

Viewing and care

Arrange a viewing to consider the surface and scale in person. We can provide a condition note, framing guidance and a written delivery estimate before you decide. Keep the work away from direct sunlight and ask us for care advice suited to its materials.
