Tidal Memory

About the work

Elena built this surface through repeated washes of blue and limestone pigment, allowing each layer to settle before drawing a single charcoal arc across it. The pale interruptions are exposed linen rather than white paint. Seen close up, the work carries traces of scraping, sanding and small corrections; from across the room those decisions become a quiet movement of water.

Viewing and care

Arrange a viewing to consider the surface and scale in person. We can provide a condition note, framing guidance and a written delivery estimate before you decide. Keep the work away from direct sunlight and ask us for care advice suited to its materials.
